A Dentist Invented Candy? ๐Ÿฆท

It sounds like a joke, but it's true! In 1897, a dentist named William Morrison teamed up with candy maker John C. Wharton to invent the "Fairy Floss" machine.

Why? Spun sugar used to be very hard to make by hand. They wanted to use technology to make this expensive treat cheap and easy for everyone to enjoy!
